A 1975 graduate of NYU Law School, Ms. Price became involved in the alternative dispute resolution field early in her career, making this the central focus of her practice from the 1980's forward. Her specialized work in Restorative Justice began in 1992, and led to her founding Center for Restorative Programs in 1994, as well as training RJ facilitators for several of Colorado's earliest community-based RJ programs. The Center, a not-for-profit agency based in Alamosa, serves an expansive rural area of south-central Colorado. It provides a variety of Restorative Justice services for youth in the 12JD juvenile justice system and area schools. Retired from the Executive Director position, Ms. Price continues to serve as an RJ Specialist for the Center and is closely involved with developments related to implementing Restorative Justice Juvenile Diversion in the 12JD - one of four pilot sites around the State. Alice was appointed to the RJ Council in 2013 after passage of HB13-1254.
