LCJP seeks a half-time administrative assistant to help manage basic bookkeeping and day to day operations. Longmont Community Justice Partnership (LCJP) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build community through collaborative and inclusive restorative practices and give people the opportunity to heal and create justice in their community and the world.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, primarily during daytime hours. Some flexibility in scheduling is possible. Occasional evening hours.

Starting Hourly Rate: $20-25/hour, based on qualifications

Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Executive Director

LCJP’s Administrative Assistant is an experienced, dynamic team member whose presence and contributions promote organizational stability, growth, and efficiency. The Administrative Assistant must have strong foundational bookkeeping skills. Working at a small non-profit, the administrative assistant helps with a variety of projects and is expected to maintain high quality standards while multi-tasking and meeting deadlines. The administrative assistant is comfortable working independently and demonstrates logic, diligence, and follow through. LCJP works with a diverse community of clients, volunteers, and stakeholders, and we seek a new team member who can interact respectfully with individuals representing a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

The LCJP staff committedly utilizes a restorative approach to thoughtfully and authentically address conflict and cultivate relationships. LCJP staff is dedicated to educating the community in conflict resolution skills and techniques informed by our own experiences.
