Job Details

LCJP’s Bilingual Case Coordinator (BCC) coordinates restorative justice cases by working closely with responsible and harmed parties (offenders and victims), volunteer facilitators and referring agents including the Longmont Police.

The BCC plays a critical role in LCJP’s efforts to deliver high-quality services that uphold restorative principles and apply those to effectively work alongside criminal justice agents who are often guided by a different philosophy. This requires creativity, flexibility, and leadership.

The BCC is the primary contact for Spanish-speaking participants; familiarity with Latinx culture is helpful.

Because LCJP is a leader in the restorative justice movement, the BCC will have the opportunity to teach and train volunteers and others in these emerging tools and techniques. They will facilitate approximately one case each month, and take the lead on implementing LCJP’s RESTORE program for theft cases.
