My background in RP/RJ began in family and youth ministry , and counseling course work as part of my college education program over 15 years ago. I began training students as peer mentors, utilizing RP skills in 2006. I was introduced to IIRP in 2010, and found a home for my skills and beliefs. I was hired by Aurora Public Schools as a Restorative Practices/Justice Coordinator in 2012, after one year as a coordinator I returned to the classroom where I use RP/J as my classroom management model. I train and mentor our student Peer Mentor Team. I have completed multiple trainings through ReSolutionaries, as have my students.
